🟥 UGHELLI NORTH SECURITY ALERT
Police authorities in Delta State have launched a manhunt for the killers of a police inspector who was reportedly shot dead by suspected gunmen in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Abaniwonda, visited the area and directed operatives to intensify efforts to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
The police command has also reinforced security measures in and around Ughelli as investigations continue.
CP Abaniwonda assured residents that the perpetrators would be tracked down and brought to justice, urging members of the public to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies by providing useful information.
The incident has renewed concerns over security in the area, with residents calling for sustained efforts to curb criminal activities and protect lives and property.
