FUPRE Student Allegedly Kills Biological Brother During Dispute Over Bathroom Slippers
A tragic incident has reportedly occurred at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, where a 100-level student allegedly lost his life following an altercation with his biological brother.
According to reports, the incident took place at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Hostel C within the university premises. The two brothers, both said to be 100-level students of the institution, reportedly became involved in a disagreement over bathroom slippers.
Witnesses claim that the argument escalated, leading to a violent confrontation. During the incident, one of the brothers, identified as Joshua, allegedly attacked the victim with a bottle, inflicting fatal injuries.
The victim was reportedly rushed for assistance but was later confirmed dead. His body has since been deposited in a mortuary.
Sources further allege that the suspect fled the scene and is currently on the run.
