Sowore Blasts Tinubu’s ICPC Probe Order, Calls It a ‘Cover-Up’
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has dismissed the federal government's directive for the ICPC to investigate the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, describing the move as a “classic cover-up” rather than a genuine anti-corruption effort.
Sowore questioned the credibility of the investigation, alleging that key actions taken before the probe have already undermined public trust in the process.
According to him, authorities have allegedly cleared the principal suspect while targeting another accused person through a home raid and the arrest of his father.
“These guys really think Nigerians are fools. You want a thorough investigation, but you have already cleared the principal suspect and gone after others. This is not an investigation; it is a classic cover-up,” he said.
