TCN Announces 12-Day Power Maintenance, Outages Expected Across Delta Communities
Residents and businesses in Warri, Sapele, Ughelli, and several other parts of Delta State should prepare for temporary disruptions in electricity supply as the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) commences a 12-day maintenance exercise on its power infrastructure.
According to the announcement, the maintenance work is aimed at improving the reliability and efficiency of electricity transmission in the affected areas. However, the exercise is expected to result in intermittent power outages and load shedding during the maintenance period.
Customers are advised to make necessary arrangements and exercise patience while the upgrade works are being carried out. TCN says the maintenance is part of efforts to strengthen the national grid and improve power delivery to consumers in the long term.
Residents have expressed concerns over the timing of the outages, especially amid ongoing challenges with electricity supply and rising energy costs.
